With this theme, the chapter is charged with actively strategizing to move thechapter forward through the following methods:

This administration’s theme was conceived to make a lasting imprint on the chapter’s collective service area and to encourage and build a progressive group of leaders who would continue to carry Tau Pi Omega forward. Under the Building for CHANGE tenure, Tau Pi Omega was engaged in innovative and intentional community initiatives that resulted in record number participation with the members of the chapter and community. The chapter’s membership retention remained over 90% and members were actively engaged in a scholarship fundraising effort that garnered a $30,000.00 profit in less than 30 days.
Through the chapter’s non-profit organization,The Council for Community Enrichment, Inc., (CCE) has awarded over $300,000.00 to deserving high school graduates to further pursue their educational goals.Tau Pi Omega’s participation in the sorority’s Empower Our Family program initiative showcased the chapter’s determination on its direct impact on its service area. The CHIPP program provides weekend and holiday meals for children within local communities and was targeted to the Alpha Kappa Alpha’s most ambitious childhood hunger program. The original request from the sorority was to service 65 students per week.
Tau Pi Omega partnered with Stoneview Elementary School,a Title 1 school in the service area, and currently provides meals for 152 students per week. The chapter partners with First African Community Development Corp. and Berean Christian Church to provide the weekly meals at a substantial discount, saving the chapter approximately 75% or more in its monthly food budget. Tau Pi Omega’s dedication and achievement afforded the chapter to be featured as one of the model chapters for the CHIPP program in the South Atlantic Region. As of June 2024, Tau Pi Omega provided 9,472 meals and distributed 100,495 food items to Stoneview Elementary School. Tau Pi Omega has also partnered with Antioch A.M.E. Church to host a monthly Community Farmer’s Market from March through October.
