The Council for Community Enrichment Inc.
The Council for Community Enrichment, Incorporated (CCE) is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization established in 2005 by Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.®, Tau Pi Omega Chapter. The Council for Community Enrichment, Inc.’s philosophy is to give back to the community where we live, work, worship, and play, and inspire other civic leaders, organizations, agencies, and individuals to do the same.
CCE focuses on programs and services that support education, economic empowerment, and improving the quality of life for DeKalb County residents. Preferential consideration and funding are given to grant proposals that address CCE’s program focus. CCE's mission is to positively impact the lives of the underserved and disadvantaged through education, training, mentoring, and financial assistance.
The vision CCE is a community-based organization aspiring to enhance family life through advocating lifelong learning for the people we serve. Funds that are raised are allocated to a deserving senior in high school or any projects intended to aid the community. To date, CCE has awarded over $300,000.00 to graduating high school seniors
